CyrilMartin,

I'm surprised that you do not have (1974) on your list.

On a similar note, I think Amarcord (1973) isn't horror.

Now, that you have Young Frankenstein. It got me thinking what would I choose. Still, Shaun of the Dead (2004), I guess.

I love that you have Wallace & Gromit on the list! My vote would have to go to Young Frankstein, though, with Wallace & Gromit & The Curse of the WereRabbit and Shaun of the Dead in second place. Good poll!

FYC:

The other two films in the Cornetto Trilogy, along with Shaun of theDead:

The World's End (259, 508 votes; 7.0 rating; 81 Metascore)

Hot Fuzz (462, 577 votes; 7.8 rating; 81 Metascore) (although I don't remember this as well as Shaun of the Dead and The World's End so can't be sure that it was horror)

Thanks, Ruby... For the considerations, correct me if I'm wrong The World's End is about a sort of alien invasion so it comes under sci-fi & Hot Fuzz is more of an action and mystery right?

Hi Cyril, I really don't remember 'Hot Fuzz' very much but yes, I don't think that there was any horror in that one. 'The World's End' is about zombie-like robots and, remembering that one well, it seems to fit perfectly into the horror-comedy genre, although it's also sci-fi because the enemy creatures are actually robots. Peter said that the idea of the trilogy, though, was that they represent three different genres (I'm assuming besides comedy) and when I look at 'The World's End' that way, I can see it that way, too, because there's not the same kind of gore in it as 'Shaun of the Dead.' Instead of blood, for example, there's an ink-like substance, lol.

I think, yes, 'Hot Fuzz' doesn't fit and perhaps 'The World's End' is borderline or in the eye of the beholder and, considering what Peter said, maybe even 'The World's End' doesn't really belong. I haven't had time to do any other research or watch 'The World's End' again but I trust Peter and if you also thought something similar, I defer to the two of you.
