Live Poll: Favorite Coconut Scene (or quote) in a Movie

This is pretty self-explanatory. It's a list of every memorable scene in a feature film involving coconuts that I could think of. Some of them are funny, a few are dramatic, but they all involve coconuts, which is very important.

The question is, which one is your favorite?

Moana and Maui encounter the Kakamora, a diminutive race wearing armor made of coconut shells but I might throw my vote to

El Mariachi grabs a free coconut on the way into town: "Free coconuts... I was beginning to like this city.

Curious - what inspired this idea?

"The lime in the coconut song" is called Coconut and it's by Harry Nilsson. Would be better to use that as the description in one of the instances you refer to it.

Zazu sings "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Cocoanuts" (yes, it was originally misspelled when first written) to amuse Scar in The Lion King. The song was previously a hit for Merv Griffin and Danny Kaye.

I can't believe I forgot about that one! That's going in there immediately!

I realize that the song is called Coconut and its by Harry Nilsson, but I thought it would be more familiar to people if I used the most recognizable line in the song. Anyway, I changed it. Now it includes both (song title/songwriter, famous line).

I was reading the screenplay for It's a Wonderful Life and when I came across the scene where George talks about coconuts and being nominated for membership in the National Geographic society, for some reason I thought it would be fun to do a poll about coconut scenes in movies.

Timothy,

For your consideration:
The Cocoanuts (1929)  - During the Florida land boom, The Marx Brothers run a hotel, auction off some land, thwart a jewel robbery, and generally act like themselves.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cocoanut
Definition of cocoanut We could use this phrase from Coconut by Harry Nilsson as an ostinato.

She put the lime in the coconut, she drank 'em bot' up

... and combine it with Fred Heatherton's 1944 novelty song "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts"

I would love to include more films from the Golden Age of Hollywood and/or the Silent Era, but in order to fit in with others on this list, I would need a reference to specific scene or piece of dialogue in the movie. I found one quote on the quotes page referring specifically to cocoanuts:

Hammer:
There it is. There it is, over there, right where that cocoanut tree is. Now what am I offered for lot #21?

Chico:
Two hundred dollars

Hammer:
Why, my friend, there's more than two hundred dollars worth of milk in those cocoanuts - and *what* milk, milk from contented cow-co-nuts. Who will say 300?

...but as I have not seen the movie, I don't really understand the context. Perhaps someone who has seen the movie can enlighten me?

It's an unusual but cool idea, why not after all?, but even if it makes more time, it's got to be an image poll, images speak a thousands words and will spare most of the writing, except when it's about a line or a song. And I'm sure many images are ready already...

If you'd like to make it an image poll but can't find enough images, let me know and I can try to find photos for any missing images. I just uploaded an image for Papillon, just in case.

Might be harder than expected, can't believe there's no Baloo dancing with King Louie (he put coconuts in his mouth as if he was 'one of them')

I uploaded a bunch of them yesterday, so they should be showing up today. Most of them, in fact, were not available, and some - such as Bride & Prejudice & The Wedding Ringer - I couldn't even find decent ones online.

Also, I'm going to add the Jungle Book scene to the original list.

My vote would probably go to either Papillon or Reservoir Dogs. This idea cracks me up. I really like it a lot.

If you still need a few more options, song "Shake Your Coconuts" by Junior Senior by was used greatly in Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) and Worms 3D (2003).

I added the Looney Tunes one, but I left out Worms 3D since I want to keep this for feature films only (otherwise, there would be too many options).

It seems like there should be a lot of coconut bras, especially maybe in older musicals, but I had trouble finding them except this:
