Live Poll: Face-Off: Christoph Waltz vs. Christoph Waltz

Quentin Tarantino has directed six Oscar nominated acting performances but Christoph Waltz is, so far (as of 2019), the only actor to win an Oscar for a performance in a Tarantino film. Waltz has won two such Oscars, actually, for 'Inglourious Basterds'and 'Django Unchained.'  Of these award-winning performances, which is your favorite?

Basterds. Even as someone who didn't like the film, when I saw his performance, there was just something undeniable about his chances to win, his role was a wet dream for any actor who'd die to get the statuette, Waltz was intimidating, funny, weird, scary AND multilingual, he couldn't NOT win.

But in Django? He was good OK but for one thing, Leo was more memorable. I'm not saying any performance should cover a wide range of emotions in order to win, but I don't think there's a choice here. Landa is simply one of the best performance of the 2000s, Schultz is just one Oscar-winning performance.

I knew there was another Oscar worthy performance. Indeed, Leo, SLJ and then Waltz... never got why his performance all of a sudden became the "thing" of 2012, seems like a vote by default if one asked me.
