My vote: Giancarlo Esposito - He is a versatile actor with a wonderful voice. He's demonstrated that he can handle dark roles.

I agree Giancarlo Esposito, although I see about a half dozen actors I like for the role almost as much. Dan Stevens doesn't feel right for the role.

great list, I would be pleased to see most of them. Giancarlo Esposito, in support as I feel he doesn't get the respect he deserves.

Thank you! I agree.  Doctor Doom is eastern European, Giancarlo is mixed European, Denmark is very close to Eastern Europe.  He feels more right for the role than Dan Stevens.  Dan Stevens should be Mr. Sinister, he's British.  

I'm sure someone will pick  up Giancarlo Esposito soon for an iconic dark villain movie role.  If not Dr. Doom then I hope for Shadow King, popular villain in comic books.  He's sure got the voice for Shadow King.   And Legion's version of Shadow King will not be part of X-Men movie universe.
