I will try my best to reorder the images so the best images are on the rope, I expect that a big image of Bar Nachos is not good to sell my poll.

Some of Candie's White Cake would be perfectly fine by me.

I agree it looks delicious. The apple strudel looks fine too.

However, I'm not too certain about the Stew and the Bar Nachos, these look very cheap.

The text could use en edit, such as:

@cinephile Just a thought,

Jimmy's Coffee

Come Dine With Me - Tarantino

It is Quentin Tarantino's turn to cook; you anticipate his dinner because every Tarantino fan knows how he is able to make great scenes with a simple milkshake.

Which part of the dinner looks the tastiest?

Give your first impression on the menu here.

1) You could expand the number of possibilities by considering all the movies his written and not just the ones he has written and directed, since the focus seems to be on food-related scenes he has created or crafted.

2) I am not sure what the threshold for inclusion here is or if other liquid refreshments count. I don't remember the food or drink details off-hand, but I did bird dog some notable Tarintino bar or restaurant scenes for you to research in more detail.

Restaurant/Bar Scenes

(real location names are used, since they are usual unnamed in the films)

Others scenes include the opening coffee shop "debating tipping" scene @ Pat and Lorraine’s and the Johnies scene where Tim Roth’s character, Mr. Orange, a.k.a. Freddy, a young undercover cop, consults with his superior in Reservoir Dogs. Plus, the Del Amo Fashion Center food court scene and the post-bonding scene @ Jackie's local bar 'near the airport' where she takes Max Cherry ( Robert Forster) after he collects her from county jail aka the Cockatoo Inn in Jackie Brown. Another is Hawthorne Grill scene where Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer decide to hold up the coffee shop in Pulp Fiction. Besides, Musso & Frank Grill bar scene when Marvin Schwarzs, played by Al Pacino, arrives to pitch Rick on spaghetti westerns to revive his spiraling career, there is another @ the El Coyote Mexican Cafe in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

3) I think the cooking metaphors are great idea for the intro, question and discussion link. I think writing or directing a scene is a lot like perfecting a dish with the right ingredients and blended it together in a distinct way so it comes out just right. Personally, I think it would really funny and interesting, if you went over the top with the food and cooking metaphors. Here is a list of about 40 of them that you could use, if you want.

I want to stick to scenes in which food is the focus. For each of the examples in my poll there was a close-up in the associated film.

The cooking metaphor idea is great. I will work on that.

@cinephile Just spitballing ideas and offering opinions, however you want to handle it.

I agree the food item should be not included, unless you have a good image and it becomes central to the discussion, that is why I recommended Jimmie's coffee. I uploaded two additional images if you choose to add the scene.

What a good idea. I'd go with the $5 milkshake.

I like that one person, of every meal in this poll, chose the stew:
