In much of Indian cinema, horror as a genre hasn't quite reached the reputation that it deserves. Most horror movies are made around regular horror themes of haunted house, spirit possession, etc. mixed with Indian mythology of Rakshasha (Devil), Daayan and Nagin.
Here are the Indian horror movies with a minimum of 1,500 ratings and an IMDb rating of 5.5 or more.
