I don't think Hamilton was eligible at the Oscars.

My pick: I'm Thinking of Ending Things

Indeed, Hamilton was not an eligible film as it was considered a tv production, it was impossible for it to be nominated.

Enola Holmes and Greenland are also ineligible for the Oscars.

Glad to have you back Dibyayan.

Hamilton, Greenland, Enola Holmes, American Murder, Seungriho, The Hater, The Map of Tiny Perfect Things, Balle Perdue and The Kid Detective were not eligible for the Oscars and it was impossible for them to be nominated.

These films were eligible, match your vote and rating parameters and are missing from your list:

Soorarai Pottru doesn't have a metascore, but it is very high rated and was eligible.

Color Out of Space is 2019, but it was released in 2020 in the US and thus it as eligible for the Oscars of this year.

Dara of Jasenovac also has a very high rating despite not appearin in Metascore. It also was eligible.

The Lodge is 2019 but was eligible as Color out of Space was

Bill & Ted Face the Music

Freaky

Bacurau

The Rental

Lost Girls

Relic

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (It even made the shortlists)

Saint Maud

First Cow - was considered a strong candidate.

Thanks Pencho.

I have updated my list.

Latest parameter - 6.5 rating with 5,000 votes and 60 Metascore. I am using the parameter to add some movies which are not very popular at the box office but have good potential for award ceremonies.

There are 350+ movies in Col's list. We need to apply some parameters to choose 35 of them. Don't we?

Indeed, good selection.

From what I have seen my favorite is The Dig.

I am gonna pick The Invisible Man, great performance by Elisabeth Moss

but I guess as always The Academy members don't like Horror films
