@Pencho15 Will win - CODA (which will be remembered as a terrible mistake) I don't see what suddenly made the voters change their mind at the PGA and the SAG. The Power of the Dog was the favorite for months earning 12 nominations at the Oscars. Meanwhile, CODA wasn't even nominated for Best Director and Best Editing. I really don't get it.

@cinephile Neither do I, unfortunately awarding a film like this that in the future will be signaled as a big mistake is common. The Green Book and The King's Speech are recent examples. I wouldn't have even nominated it for Best Picture.

The Power of the Dog got snubbed solidly this night winning only 1 award out of 12 nominations. It got robbed. I think we will remember it.

@cinephile There were 3 or 4 films that were worthy winners, CODA was not among them. It seems that when there are more interesting films in the nominations they make the biggest mistakes.

@Pencho15 It is like this every single year. It is only my opinions, but I think there are only 7 years in the last 20 years where I agree with them (2020, 2015, 2014, 2010, 2008, 2007, 2005). Again, I have not seen CODA, but this year, I could have understood a win from either: The Power of the Dog, Drive My Car, Dune, Belfast or West Side Story. My favorites being The Power of the Dog and Drive My Car.
