When Marnie Was There (2014), Ghibli Fest 2024, baby! Rewatch! Still 10/10!

I've been misremembering this one as being the impetus to my unorthodox ghost story polls. 

I guess how I missed placing it in my original Unorthodox Ghost Story poll. That being a 2014 poll and the Studio Ghibli film coming out in 2015 in the US.

I have a sequel poll with Unorthodox Japanese Ghost Stories but that's TV series only. Was I in the process of making a third one for anime movies?

Inside Out 2 (2024), 9/10.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School (Original Sin S2) - Pretty entertaining, though not as good as S1. Also, too woke. 7/10

Under The Bridge (Mini Series 2024) - Excellent. Riley Keough deserves an Emmy for this. Possibly Archie Panjabi too. 8/10

Dark Matter (2024, Season 1) - Best new of show of the year so far, which has had mostly weak offerings. 9/10

Narrow Margin (1990) - Bland film. Just barely watchable. 5/10

This Sunday:

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977): Rewatch. 9/10. Down from 10/10.

Atlas (2024)  - Nothing especially memorable, but still one of the better offerings of 2024. 7-/10

Locked In (2023) - Bland. Okay to pass the time. 5/10

Ahsoka (2023, Season 1)  - ½ a movie dragged out in a 6 hour serial format. 6/10

A Good Girl's Guide To Murder (2024, Season 1) - Heavily contrived, cheap BBC stuff. 6½ / 10

The Boys S4 - 9/10

Presumed Innocent S1 - 8/10

No One Will Save You (2023) - No idea how this has a 6.3. 2/10

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning (2023) - One of the better installments of this hit and miss franchise 7/10

Tiger House (2015) - Surprisingly good low budget thriller 7- / 10

Point Break (1991)/Rifftrax Live: Rewatch. Downgraded from a generous 7/10 to a 4/10 for the actual movie. 9/10 for the Rifftrax commentary track.
