My own favorites are/were Buddy Ebsen, the men of Monty Python, Cary Grant, Danny Kaye (The Court Jester may be the funniest movie ever made), and Bill Cosby (though it isn't politically correct to like him anymore).
If you include older, deceased actors there are some obvious omissions. Perhaps it would be better if you focused on living people or a specific time frame and left the others for another poll. And since you are only listing men, also include "male" in the text.
