Face-Off: Glenn Close's Mamaw

So? Do you believe that Al Pacino or De Niro or Matthew McConaughey or Helen Mirren or Sandra Bollock or Michael Caine or Marlon Brando or Laurence Olivier, etc... could give a terrible Razzie worthy performance?

McConaughey and Bullock I would have believed, t in the case of Pacino, Caine and DeNiro I would have been mostly dissapointed at them for appearing in the film that earned them their nominations.

Brando, Olivier and Mirren I still have a hard time believing it, but I may change my mind if I watch their films, the same with Close, I have a hard time believing it, but after watching the film I might believe it. 

Since its also an Oscar nominee I'll probably watch Close film and make up my mind.

I saw the film yesterday. It wasn't good, but if there's something good with it is Glenn Close, I wouldn't have nominated her for the Oscar, but just as there are undeserving Oscar nominees, she is an undeserving razzie nominee.

My guess is knowing Hillbilly Elegy is far from being a good film and knowing there was Oscar buzz around Glenn Close, they decided to nominate her, having the same role in contention for best and worst of the year is bound to generate attention.
