A few suggestions for Poll Suggestions
There are a few poll ideas of mine now gathering dust in the back of my brain. If anyone would like to use them, feel free to do so. And in that case I would of course help find options and construct the poll, too, if that is wished.
-National Filmmaker: after this poll, maybe other countries could be considered as well. Which filmmaker most embodies the culture of France, Italy, etc.?
-Three Continents of Comics (or of Comic Book Movies): which is your favorite among North America, Europe, and Asia? One could also leave out Europe and make it a two-way face-off between the biggest contenders.
-Directors Group, Nov. 1972: before Ellen's Oscar Selfie, there was a photo of comparably (if not more) prestigious persons, made on occasion of a meeting of directors hosted by George Cukor. See here for the photo and the names. Who is your favorite?
-Friendly Filmmakers: The opposite of Frightening Filmmakers. Whom would you most look forward to work with?
-Another kind of sequel: Prophets in their Countries- Actors Edition. Or generally moviemaking people who are not directors.
-a bit similar to the above, but with a different focus: people or movies that are surprisingly big in one specific country. I only had trouble coming up with options, except David Hasselhoff. But maybe someone has ideas.
-Stanley Kubrick Facts. There are so many intriguing things to learn about him, they should be used in some poll.

One of them is a bit similar to one of mine which is in the earl stages of development, but it has a very different focus.

And another one: Who is your favorite film critic? The problem would be to choose the right options because most of them don't have their own IMDb page. Maybe each critic's favorite movie? Or an arbitrary combination: The first 20, 35 or whatever entries in the IMDb Top 250; or a movie with 1 in the title for the first option, a movie with 2 in the title for the second, etc.
