why the The Woody Woodpecker Show (1987-1998) isn't in the database?
Hello I think there are Three versions of this tv show with the same name 1. The Woody Woodpecker Show (1957-1972) aired in ABC and NBC 2. The Woody Woodpecker Show (1987-1998) aired in ABC, NBC and Cartoon Network 3. The Woody Woodpecker Show (2023-present) aired in MeTV (previously known as Woody Woodpecker and Friends) The 1987 version is different from 1957 version. in this version doesn't have the Walter Lantz segments and have a new animation for intro and bumpers known as Musical Miniatures (not be confused as 1946-1948 series). but this version is kinda obscure and lost media because there are no footage of the cartoons that have aired only intro, bumpers and credits are recovered. Note: In the Database the poster of the 1957 tv show is the 1987 version.

Thanks for your analysis of the various variations of the woodpecker show. I honestly wouldn't do such a thing myself.

Wikipedia (which could be wrong, of course) treats the 1987, 1997 and 2003 versions as the same show, but in reruns. You mention changes made to them, but if they're superficial enough, it may be more useful for IMDb to consider them altered reruns of the original, rather than as completely new shows. I'd say that if each episode has the same three theatrical cartoons, but with some new material added, and some old material removed, it's the same show. It might be best to add information about the three rerun versions to the Alternate Versions section of the series page. You can note the existence of the new bumpers, the Musical Miniatures, etc. And if you can ever find episode-specific information (such as the song used in a particular Musical Miniature), you can add it to the Alternate Versions section of each episode page. I'm only familiar with the version of the show that was rerun in the 1970s, so I couldn't say how superficial, or how deep, the changes are in the "reruns."
