Top Contributor Leaderboard for January 2023
Hi and welcome to January’s top contributor leaderboard! January’s results can be found here;

We’ve made a few changes to the leaderboard for 2023. The first one you will see is that we’ve added the “Your position is” feature from 2022’s End of Year leaderboard and applied it to our ongoing monthly ones. From now on, as long as you have contributed over 100 items that month, you will be able to see at a glance what your ranking is without having to scroll!
Secondly we’ve made a couple of tweaks to how we are calculating items. We’ve fixed a bug which was causing a handful of items to occasionally be counted twice, and we’ve added in a few item types which had previously been excluded from the count - Cast & Crew Complete verification, Negative Formats and Contact Data submissions. Having reviewed the numbers, the impact of these changes is minor, so you shouldn’t notice too much difference, however they will ensure a more accurate reflection of your contributions going forward.

Top 300: Biggest Increase in Contributions
Did not receive the change when it comes to thousand separator for the number change. (Like you guys did for the full contribution leaderboard) Adding the comma as the thousand separator there as well would be helpful and make it more readable.

I'm going to say it again (and probably keep saying it), I'm surprised that IMDb values input from bots that is not validated by viewing on screen credits the same as the data inputted manually by people actually watching the features that they are inputting data for.
I'm also surprised that "cast complete" was never counted before now even though that one data point takes more time than probably the input bots put in for all their data points combined.

It is nice to see where we land on the contributions each month. For January, to my surprise, I am listed at 145. I don't have much time, since I have to create films that everyone has to enter in, to even attempt to catch up to the number 1 contributor.
