Someone added the prefix "Betty Boop-" to all of the IMDb display titles for Betty Boop short films of the 1930s.
Someone added the prefix "Betty Boop-" to (almost) all of the IMDb display titles for the Betty Boop short films of the 1930s. Example: Betty Boop- Taking the Blame. Every one of these display titles should be deleted.
(NOTE: Some of the Betty Boop shorts of this period already have Betty Boop's name in the original title. Example: Betty Boop for President. These have been left alone.)
I'm hoping the contributor can be identified and all of his work deleted. Otherwise, there will be a tedious project ahead identifying which IMDb display titles must be removed.
There seems to be a desperate desire by some contributors to collect these old short films into a series of some kind on IMDb. Their attempts to transform the shorts into TV series have failed, and now one of them has done this. Again, I hope the staff will consider my idea of adding a new category called Collections. Here's my Sprinklr post about it: Collections.

This same thing happened in November 2022, also involving someone adding "Betty Boop- " to the titles of her cartoons.
As I said at the time,

I knew something about those titles felt familiar. I'd forgotten that we'd already talked about it. I even took a screenshot.

Hi @jay_spirit,
Thank you for reporting this.
We have filed a ticket (ref. #D117869183) to investigate the cause of this issue. We would also remind you that a title's display text can be corrected via the Contribution Form. Although we do appreciate that this would take a considerable amount of time in this case, we do encourage our contributors to correct errors or inaccuracies when they observe them.
Cheers!
