Name correction

#250321-233650-108000 This is declined as "Does not meet contribution guidelines" despite pointing out that the person is always credited under the shorter name that I have suggested, and despite the fact that all her credits already have "as" attributes with that name. Here are the guidelines: "General Rule: The primary name for a person in IMDb is the one by which they are most often credited."

Hi Peter_pbn- Thank you for posting this submission reference number! Taking a look, typically, the primary name for an individual should be the one by which they are most often credited with. However, we make exceptions to this rule when the page has been claimed (by that individual or their representation), in which case, we will retain the name that the page is claimed under. Cheers!

Since the rejection cites guidelines, should you perhaps update the guidelines? Current guidelines also include: "Please remember that we record the name as it appears on-screen; even if the name is not spelled the way its owner prefers, it could still be the name we want in the database." I also find it unlikely that the actor would prefer the full name listed in IMDb when she doesn't use it in screen credits.
