How best to credit an artist for a web-series

Hello! I'm the Executive Producer of a web-series. One of the characters in the series is an artist. I had a celebrity artist that is a painter/comic book artist create and draw all of the character's art that appears in all of the episodes. What is the best way to credit the celebrity artist? Thank you.

Curtis: That's definitely an Art Department credit. If you are trying to decide how to list the celebrity artist's job in the credits of the series ... let's say the character name is Jack ... then the celebrity artist could be listed on IMDb with the job title "painter: Jack's artwork". Other variations on that job title are possible, though; I'm not 100% committed to that exact phrasing.

I appreciate that. Thank you gromit82. The name of the character is Cynthia and the celebrity artist refers to herself on her website as a "Comic Book Illustrator". I, of course, want to give as much special credit as possible as she is enhancing the visibility of the project. One options is to list her as "Special Illustrator: Cynthia's art." That might work. It has Illustrator in there, which is her term and then "art" to convey that she is a graphic artist (as compared to an artist that is a performer). I may go with that. Thank you for the inspiration!
