Some of the company names Studio-A-tone, Studio301, Sony Music Direct Japan, IMAGICA, Roland is in English. but you can see there's no Pixar Animation Studios and I posted all of the screenshot credits on the IMDB page I could find on my Shimajiro DVD film.

There is actually an English Dub to Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis 2017 which I can't find at this time. If I can convince the Benesse copyright owners to release the English dub on IMDB TV, or Amazon Video or Youtube video. Then I'll be able to take screenshots of the English credits version and show better proof.

In the meantime, can we delete Pixar Animation Studios from the Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis 2017 IMDB company credits page since they had no acknowledgement with Shimajiro? 211228-054544-857000

The only involvement that Pixar Animation Studios had acknowledgement, is with the 2 Japanese Anime films by Studio Ghibli with Walt Disney Pictures are "Spirited Away" 2001 and "Howls Moving Castle" 2004 in the interview DVD footage.

And let me know if you've read and reviewed the official Benesse Kodomo Shimajiro Credits PDF files of Shimajiro from 2013-2019 as seen on this link.

@Michelle​ Also, here's the official English Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis poster from the Candian film festival from Sunday August 12 2018. Which it states the company names are Toronto Japanese film Festival, Anime North, Japan Foundation, Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, Toronto Anime Matsuri, JM Fest. But there's no Pixar Animation Studios logo anywhere on the poster.

I'm sorry I do not have access to the English Dub of Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis. I wish I did, then I could be able to screen the English credits. I'll have to convince the Benesse company to start letting me and Shimajiro fans to release Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis on IMDB TV or on youtube or Amazon video or Netflix.

But Pixar Animation Studios was officially involved with studio Ghibli films Spirited Away 2001, and Howls Moving Castle 2004 which I recently added to the company credits page.

@Michelle​ I think you're just trusting the user added that data but instead of trusting them, you should stop them from vandalising imdb more.

And that huyvo2001 person pretty much admits vandalising these pages. You should identify the user and stop them, you shouldn't trust them just because they have thousands of submissions. Most likely most of them, if not all, are vandalism.

Hey Michelle, by the way, just to let you know that Pixar Animation Studios never did acknowledge in Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis. Can we remove Pixar Animation Studios from Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis, they also never were invovled with the official English Dub version? Please remove it if possible.

And Michelle, can I ask the Benesse company to release an official English dub to IMDB TV or Amazon Video or youtube or share a youtube video of the English dub credits version of Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis?

I have the Japanese version on DVD and I couldn't understand a word they said, and I would be very happy to see the English dub version and then I could help out the IMDB staff more.

We have reasons to believe that Pixar Animation Studios was credited on the original release as "Acknowledged" (this credit was added by IMDb staff).  We cannot remove this credit unless we receive valid evidence to prove otherwise, such as a full screen grab of the original on-screen credits for the film.

To clarify your second question, it is my understanding that you are wanting to include content for the English dub on IMDb?  If the English dub film is available on youtube for example, you can submit this as an External Site link on the title page, likewise if the title becomes available on Prime Video or on DVD/Blu-ray, you can request to include the "buy" or "watch" links, for more information on how to make these requests I encourage you to review our Help Guide.

@Michelle​ Michelle you are right, the Deviant Art user huyvo2001 did confess to me that he did vandalize the Doraemon and Shimajiro IMDB pages with random mislabeled actors on the Doraemon and Shimajiro pages and fake company information like Stone Comics Entertainment , CJ E&M Film Financing & Investment Entertainment & Comics

For his own Deviant Art fanfiction projects on your IMDB pages which needs to be cited for deletion from all of the Korean IMDB film pages.

Also, the IMDB user perpetrators involved with the fake credit contribution are mtvsumy, xuanduy-39299, finarectoria and mygiahuy who may have been responsible for the fake credit mess. Can we consider blocking or banning the 4 perpetrators from contributing on IMDB? I don't want any more IMDB fake credit vandalism from happening again. I'm very against vandalism and fake information in any IMDB pages.

Anyways here is the official Shimajiro and the Rainbow Oasis credits from Benesse's official PDF file page which shows the official credits as seen in this website screenshot in English.

Concerning the two page listings, I can see that both title listing are intentionally split, though I'm not certain why.

@Michelle​ Thanks. "intentionally split" thing is interesting, I researched it like for an hour before posting here and couldn't find any reason for two seperate pages. I think it might be the job of the vandal CrosswalkX keeps talking about. Or maybe someone had an incorrect assumption that both English name and original name can have seperate pages for a title?

You were also saying Pixar credit was added by imdb staff, could it be because said vandal requested it via contact us page and added by the support staff from there, so that's why you saw it was added by imdb staff?

There's no indication there are two different films with same name. Japanese one is original name, English one is international name of the same film. There is no reason to add different title pages for both names.

is official, I did not write it. The people in the Japanese Benesse company wrote it. You can see their main official Shimajiro website link which has the information in original English.

By the way mbmb, we do have 4 IMDB preparators named mtvsumy, xuanduy-39299, finarectoria and mygiahuy who may have been responsible for this Shimajiro mislabeled credit mess. Can we ask the IMDB staff to block them from contributing on IMDB. I don't want them to randomly post incorrect credits on the IMDB film pages.

Also, I have been at work trying to contribute correct accurate information on the Shimajiro film pages and remove fake credits because I'm a fan of kid's anime movies, TV shows and I want the IMDB credits to be correct and accurate since I watch movie, TV and video game credits my whole life.

You're right there's a persistent vandal on these titles, adding lots of fake credits to lots of Korean names. It can be seen clearly, most or all Korean cast and crew credits here are just fake: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6634854/fullcredits

I even noticed a while ago, probably same vandal even added "Kim Ki-duk", such a high profile name, as director to one of his fake animated titles, and title page was filled with similar names with similar cast and crew roles like in the above page. So it was likely same person who vandalise these pages too.

I asked staff to delete that fake title page entirely and they deleted it but obviously there are still lots of live vandalised pages and names out there.

Unfortunately, staff often do not bother to take a real action against vandalisms like these, like finding users and cleaning up all vandalism they made, until it goes to the press of course. (I see they pretty much did nothing for your and others multiple reports -1 2 3- for ~3-4 years which is a shame)

Yes, and I think the IMDB staff needs to have strict rules about contributing credits online.

I think in the future when we contribute credits on IMDB whether it be actors, crew members, there needs to be a website link evidence requirement for every actor we post on IMDB, so we don't have this loophole for IMDB pranksters to post fake unsourced credits on the IMDB page.

And yes, IMDB staff members needs to change their current policy on IMDB contribution and take a stand against the credit mislabeled vandalism on the IMDB pages.
