Friends vs zombies 3

Upon reading this post: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/cant-get-rid-of-an-original-title-that-isnt-an-original-title/63010df2c5eeb86e2c39a250 , I wondered if this was the right course of action given the fact that there once was a thread about tv show Friends (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108778/mediaviewer/rm2513109504) in which it was decided it should be written as Friends and not F-r-i-e-n-d-s. I can't find that thread though, but perhaps it would be useful if there'd be a sort of policy about titles like this.
