It was bombarded with very large campaigns from Twitter groups, and they attacked it and lowered its rating, which led to great anger from fans on the imdb site. You've probably been informed of this already, but the more posts are made, the more chance there is for action to be taken. There's been an organized attack by a discord server, with the sole intention of fraudulently lowering the scores of every high rated Attack on Titan episode, we are talking about hundreds if not thousands of sock puppet accounts, this has managed to work and currently many Attack on Titan episodes have lost their 9.9, 9.8, 9.7, 9,6 and 9.5 ratings.

This has been going on for 2 days now. Here you can see the admin of said discord server, who goes by the name "Amir", boasting about it on twitter, and saying he will continue to do it to lower the ratings further.

We implore administration to fix this, a site this important and big should not allow review bombing to happen this much, the mass spamming of 1/10 and 2/10 ratings by all these account must be ignored in light of this evidence, the accounts responsible either suspended or have their ratings dismissed from the final score, thus restoring the ratings of every episode affected back to what they should be if not for these fraudulent accounts and the ill intended mob behind them.

The highest-rated episodes of "Attack on Titan" (AOT) on IMDb, which had received ratings of 9.9, are currently experiencing a significant decline in their ratings due to what appears to be a targeted campaign of review bombing. This decline is particularly concerning because these episodes have been highly regarded for many years, and the sudden drop in ratings indicates a recent and deliberate effort to negatively impact their reputation. It is worth noting that "Attack on Titan" has been subjected to review bombing in the past, but this current wave of attacks is of particular concern.

Furthermore, the most recent episode of "Attack on Titan" has also been adversely affected by an unusually high number of 1-star reviews, preventing it from attaining the rating it likely deserves based on its actual content and quality. This issue is exacerbated by the ongoing influx of thousands of 1 and 2-star ratings on the main IMDb page for "Attack on Titan" on a weekly basis, which threatens to undermine the overall rating of the series.

It is evident that "Attack on Titan" has garnered a significant number of detractors who may be driven by jealousy of its success or dissatisfaction with its conclusion. Therefore, I would like to appeal to the IMDb staff to consider implementing protective measures to mitigate the impact of such orchestrated efforts to manipulate the ratings of episodes and the series as a whole. These measures would help safeguard the integrity of the ratings system and restore the original ratings of the affected episodes, ensuring a more accurate representation of the show's quality.

One piece fans have banded together to review bomb Attack on Titan's 9.9 rated episodes. There was 6 and now there is only 1 left in 1 week. They rate the episodes 2 out of 10 to avoid the review bombing criteria. This is ridiculous and someone needs to stop them. 

It's not just Attack on Titan either. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is also facing this same wave of vicious score-bombing, which I've made a thread about here:

I don't think it's a coincidence that both Bleach TYBW and AoT have seen their ratings drop at the same time. It is not a coincidence that Bleach TYBW has seen a surge of 1s and 2s (especially after One Piece 1074) ever since the One Piece Gear 5 episodes dropped and have been airing alongside Bleach.

I expect the IMDb staff to resolve this ASAP for the integrity and validity of the site please.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns about the recent fluctuations in the IMDb ratings for the anime series "Attack on Titan." Over the past week, the show has experienced a significant drop in its rating due to what appears to be a coordinated effort by some users to negatively review the series for hateful reasons. Someone called Amir created a Discord server so people can join him to mass review bomb the Attack on Titans episodes.

According to your FAQ, IMDB rating are supposed to be accurate and provide a fun and useful opinion of a serie. However, many people from different communities created many accounts to mass review bomb some of the highest rated episodes of Attack on Titan.
For example :
S4 EP29 going from 9.7 to 9.5 in 2 days (the episode was out in march 2023)
S3 EP18 going from the 3rd better rated episode of all time in IMDB to 9.8 in a few days (the episode aired in 2019)
The episodes of the anime series that were 9.9 are now less. 

All that the fans have achieved over the last few years for their favorite series has disappeared because of a large group of people having fun rating the episodes badly, it's very frustrating.

Perhaps you can check the number of recent votes on the Attack of Titans episodes (last 2 weeks) to see that they're getting mass review bombed. It’s not a few people that are upset about this but the entier Attack on Titan community.

I can send you proofs that this really is a coordinated effort to mass review bomb Attack  on Titan, such as conversations on discord or twitter, people calling to raid the rating with many accounts and being proud about it etc. It became a game and IMDB isn’t made for that, I think that if there is no actions taken by IMDB it will encourage those who will review bomb tv shows or movies.

I kindly request that IMDb take appropriate measures to address this issue, such as investigating and addressing these mass review bombings and ensuring that the ratings accurately reflect the opinions of genuine viewers who use your platform to share their thoughts on movies and TV shows.

Maintaining the credibility of user-generated ratings is crucial to IMDb's mission, and I believe that taking action to prevent such incidents will benefit both the platform and its users.
