The filmography for the television series "Gentle Ben" is rife with uncredited animals. I'm not referring to Ben himself who was a credited bear named Bruno, but to the dozens of other animals who are not credited on-screen but nevertheless appear in the filmography. Is this appropriate?

It was a play that was set in a school, and schoolchildren from a couple of real schools seem to have been used as extras, credited as "Boys from XYZ School".
