Lists: Check-ins pop-up comments box

Just wanted to voice a positive note for the feature labeled Beta: On a title page > Share > CheckIns, you currently provide a pop-up box to add a comment while adding the title to the CheckIns list. I'm finding this very useful. I hope it will lose its Beta status and become permanent. It would be

Ratings: Add lowest rated TV (Bottom 100) list

There's a High Rated TV list and a Lowest Rated Movie list, but is there any chance will get a Lowest Rated TV list? Judging by the content, I have recently done a search and there are only about 20 programs that have a rating of 5 or lower with 5000 votes. If more than 100 or 150 programs get more

Ratings: Give the regular voter weighting to the regular reviewers

This was suggested by Surendra Mohan but needs its own thread as it could be very useful:https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topi... there is a concern that the weighting given to regular voters is being used for evil by a number of users by adding 1 star votes to films with a small number of votes, th

Ratings: Exclude documentaries from the Top TV show list

Highest rated tv show list needs to remove documentary series they take up too much of the list and if we're going to be real its hard to compare a factual series about nature to game of thrones fairly, give documentary series their own list with documentary films combined. It just makes more sense.

Video: Support video playback in the background

Videos not playing in background. When I'm watching trailer, if I change tabs the video stops. It's annoying. I like to keep the videos playing while I sometime do other stuff. How can I stop this happening. Tried different browsers, not luck.

Watchlist: Add a consistent URL for exporting watchlists

Hi! I manage a few tools for power users to enhance IMDb's UI. One small irritating issue that appeared after a recent redesign of the Your Lists page is that it no longer has a URL for a watchlist that can be used to export it. An intuitively formed link does not work, and you need to know the watc

Lists: Sorting by TV show air dates from different countries

Hi, everyone. I have a silly question. I've created a list with TV show episodes from all shows I have on DVD. It automatically puts them in chronological order, which I like very much, so I can see which episodes were shown on TV in a certain year, week etc. But: I live in The Netherlands and from

Title Pages: Show TV-series by US air date

This seems to have changed. A few months ago the site used to list shows by their us airdate. now it seems to have switched to localized. i.e. the country where i am visiting from. I don't want to know this, but the us airdate. how do i force/switch it back?

Ratings: How about some measure of voting deviation

I have noticed thatthere are films which receive pretty much the same score from all voters whileothers get very divergent ratings, a mixture often containing significantnumbers of both 1 and 10 votes. A filmwhich averages 6 with almost all votes in the 5 to 7 range should be viewedvery differently
