Willing to Pay for Profile Photo

I'd really like to be able to add just a single photo of myself to my imdb page without buying the full imdb Pro package. I'm happy to pay a small fee for it but I have no need for all the other services of imdbPro and can't justify signing up just for a photo. Like me, lots of people who will never buy Pro will happily pay up for just a profile pic - any chance you're thinking of taking advantage of this untapped revenue stream?

That was what IMDb offered at first, but there were complaints galore about having to pay for each picture and about having to pay full price to replace a headshot. Eventually, IMDb cancelled that program and instituted the Resume Subscription, later folding it into the Pro Account.

So at the moment the only way you can upload pictures is by purchasing Pro, and given the history it may be a while before one-shot payments are reconsidered.

I imagined it was something like that, but decided I'd put my two cents in. I'm sure it's one of those things where the people at imdb throw their hands up in frustration and say "dammit, we just can't win!" :)
