Unable to upload videos

Hello,

Having a claimed page, being a premium member, I still can not upload any videos.  Nothing works.  How do you resolve this!

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue uploading a demo reel to my IMDb page and was hoping someone could help. I am an IMDbPro member, and my name page is fully claimed. When I go to my account and click on “Your Page,” it correctly redirects me to my acting profile. From there: I click the Videos tab.It shows the option to add/upload a video. When I click Upload Demo Reel, I’m redirected to the video management page. However, I receive a message saying: “You must claim your IMDb page before you can upload videos.” The issue is that my page is already claimed and connected to my IMDbPro account. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a secondary verification step I might be missing, or could this be a technical/account sync issue? For reference, this is my page:https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7221606/ Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation Link : https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbprocom/unable-to-upload-demo-reel-says-page-must-be-claimed-but-it-is-claimed/699d0607983c6c082c47b354 Title : Unable to Upload Demo Reel – Says Page Must Be Claimed (But It Is Claimed)

Hello @Brink98,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble uploading your demo reel. Please make sure to consider the following:

  • You are on a stable internet connection or uploading via wired connection
  • All the required fields are filled out upon upload
  • The computer does not go to sleep during upload
  • Your browser is up-to-date, running the latest version

Also, to ensure the video you're uploading fits within our video requirements:

  • File Size: Up to 10 GB
  • Quality: From standard to full HD 1080p
  • File Format: Most major formats such as WMV, AVI, and QuickTime

IMDb does not support ProRes file formats at this time. IMDb accepts most major codecs, but we recommend H.264 for optimal results.

@Jon

Jon, thanks for that information. However, I am not even able to get to the webpage where I can attach a file. I select "Upload Video" and immediately the webpage that says "Demo Reel error" appears and says that I have to claim my IMDb page. This, however, does not make sense because I already had a reel uploaded as a primary video.

I have been a Pro member for a while now, and have uploaded demo reels in the past. However, I now try to upload a reel and I am met with the error page stating I need to claim my IMDb page. I did this a long time ago and am not sure why it is an issue now. My payment is up to date and again, I have uploaded videos before. Hi  I never had any problem to upload videos on my profile (I have 4 showreels) and today this message appeared. You must claim your IMDb page before you can upload videos. When I click on the link it doesn't lead nowhere. Please help me ! Seems a lot of us have this problem. To be clear, the button that says "Upload Demo Reel" appears; you can click it - then it jumps into a separate tab with the message "You must claim your IMDb page before you can upload videos."

We don't even get to opition of uploading the video in the first place.

  • Internet connection is fine -fastusing Google Chrome, and did an Incognito tab as well in Chrome to avoid any cookie issues.
  • I still get the same issue
