Starmeter dropped massively with profile merge
I finally got around to merging my old acting IMDB profile that had different last name with my current profile (as mostly writer/director) and my starmeter dropped by 11,000,000. lol! These things shouldn't matter right? But is there any way to get the starmeter rating back to what it was in my main profile? Hello @kristin_ellingson,
Please note that when two IMDb pages are merged together, our system is only able to retain the STARmeter data for one of the pages. We will preserve the STARmeter data for one of the page listings, usually the page which the duplicate/alternate was merged into.
Please rest assured that starting from the current week the ranking will reflect the accurate popularity of your existing page.
