Re-release box office errors

Some films are being listed by Box Office Mojo as having had re-releases in 2025 which supposedly grossed as much as their original releases or slightly more.

You can see this at https://www.boxofficemojo.com/year/2025/?grossesOption=totalGrosses where among the supposed top 10 grossing movies of 2025, three of the "Harry Potter" movies are listed:

• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl3850797057/ (supposed $382 million in 2025)
• Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl1478000641/ (supposed $321 million in 2025)
• Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl3834019841/ (supposed $291 million in 2025)

Other films affected include The Batman, Elf, The Matrix, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Purple Rain, The Goonies, and Corpse Bride.

I don't think any of the above films had significant re-releases in 2025, at least not in the U.S.

By contrast, on the 2025 box office listing at https://www.boxofficemojo.com/year/2025/?grossesOption=totalGrosses the gross listings for films that actually did receive re-releases appear to be correct, such as Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Hamilton, Jaws, Back to the Future, etc.
