IMDb Featured Video - Select Still for Featured Video

Re the Featured Video that's front and center - could we please add the ability to choose a screengrab from the Featured Video? That way, a relevant image can show up next to the profile page (sometimes the seemingly random selected video still is irrelevant, and at worst distracting). Instagram for instance does a good job with this when posting a video, with the additional option of choosing an image from other sources). Thank you!

Hello @gimdbcommunity,

To select a desired slate image for your demo reel, you can make the change by clicking "Edit" from the Your Videos page.

If there is a separate clip from the video you would like to use, please confirm and write us back with the time frame.

Hi @Jon - thanks for letting me know about the demo reel screengrab option. I was hoping for a similar option for the main IMDB profile page (not when viewing via Pro): where the selected featured video (chosen by IMDB or the User) that's to the right of the headshot - there are many times where the featured video screengrab isn't relevant or is misleading.

Yes, you can select the slate image for your demo reels and also for your primary demo reel (the video next to the headshot in the IMDb name page):

The steps shared above allow you to change the slate image to the one you want displayed next to your headshot.
