I can't access my IMDBpro account

Hi.

I deleted my Amazon account which was connected to my IMDBpro account.

The next day I realized my IMDbPro wasn't accessible anymore.

I created a new Amazon account using the same e-mail address as before but still not accessible.

IMDb says my account is already connected to another account.

Can I have some advice please?

Thank you,

Attila Vajda

Hi @Attila,

Please note that you need an Amazon account linked in order to have an IMDbPro membership. If you close the Amazon account that was linked to your IMDbPro account, your IMDbPro subscription will be cancelled automatically (which is why you have lost access to your IMDbPro membership at this moment).

In this case, to renew your IMDbPro membership, you'll need to first unlink the Amazon account that you have closed. This way, you can proceed to link the new, active Amazon account, and renew the subscription.

To unlink your IMDb and Amazon accounts, please visit your Linked Accounts settings on IMDb.com:

https://www.imdb.com/registration/thirdpartylinks

You'll need to sign in using the "Sign in with IMDb" option to access your settings.

Once you've signed in, please select "Unlink" next to the Amazon account. This will free up the IMDb account to be linked with your preferred account and renew your IMDbPro membership.

Note: For instructions to link your new Amazon account, please refer to our help page Linking IMDb and Amazon accounts.
