Why do title pages no longer show the exact # of votes that it's received?

I am working on a project that requires knowing the exact # of votes a title has. Now you guys are rounding this number to the nearest hundred (e.g. 2103 votes just gets listed as '2.1k'). I do not see any place where the actual # is now being displayed. Why would this be changed?
