Many times a search for a Gunsmoke episode yields nothing. But a Google search reveals an IMdb result. Why doesn't the IMdb search produce the episode?

Bacatselos: I'm not able to replicate this problem. Which episodes have you found nothing for on an IMDb search?

And, to be clear, were you trying an "All" search or a "TV Episodes" search? You are likely to have more success finding an episode with a "TV Episodes" search.

Almost every episode. Recently, The Warden & Scott Free. I didn't know there was a TV Episode option. I will look for it. Thanks.

@bacatselos You’ll find the “TV Episodes” option in the menu to left of the search box at the top of every IMDb page:

or you can do a search, for example, for “Scot Free” and then click the “TV Episode” option over on the right under “More results”

This site drives me crazy. I searched "TV episodes" for a Gunsmoke episode titled Homecoming. Nothing. Add that to the fact that it wouldn't accept either my username [email?] or password. It should not be this difficult.

As to the login question, is it on IMDb.com, in an app, or on this forum (which is separate from IMDb; it's a service IMDb gets from Sprinklr)?

Bacatselos: I'm not seeing the same problem with the episode. I just did a search under TV Episodes for Homecoming and here are the results I got (shown as two screenshots, with an arrow added for the right episode):

So it was 17th on the list, but it was listed.
