Suggestion on review moderation and valid review flagging
I wish to suggest following ideas as fixes which are critical to valid information on site and enhancing reliability of your platform.
Case 1: AI Generated reviews
I would like to provide a suggestion to check if movie reviews are generated via AI in the moderation process because most of the time in my reporting for deletion experience the review text is AI generated and scores 100% on AI text detector tools.
Case 2: Copy pasted reviews or mildly altered or essence of text replicated
Also, in my review reporting experience there are multiple people copy pasting same text , sometimes with mild alteration such as adding couple of sentences. Maybe this fails the automated text equality check in moderation. Some change can be done in modersation process to root out cases such as these.
Case 3: Deletion of approved and valid critical review by mass reporting from multiple accounts possibly PR teams.
Also, it happens that when I write a review which is approved, don't know why it gets removed from the movie page and I need to raise ticket to reflect it back again. I think its possibly due to mass deletions by movie PR teams. Kindly look into the fact about abnormally large number of spam or review flagging reports for a particular review to root out groupism by their marketing teams
IMDb support has always been helpful in case 3, but it would be better if permanently fixed via some system upgrade on your side such that these issues do not repeat.
Thank you
