Ratings: Hide ratings on Title Pages

There should be a setting for registered users to hide the user rating on title pages. I know that me and many others become biased when seeing the user rating on a title before watching it.

Is there a way to turn off IMDb score? I want to watch movies and TV series without being influenced by them.

I often wish that I did not have to see the Aggregate Ratings on a film's page before I have watched it and rated it myself. It would be nice if there were the option in Account Settings to Hide User Ratings Except On Mouse Over. That way the User Ratings would be obfuscated on a page unless the user were to move the mouse cursor over the part of the page where the "div.IMDbRating" element is located, in which case the ratings could be revealed on user choice. If the user rated a movie themselves, then the Aggregate rating would always be visible.

A lot of people, like me, don’t like seeing how many stars a movie got on IMDB before watching it, because it sets up expectations. While people mostly use IMDB to see how popular a movie is by looking at how many stars it has gotten, it is also a great tool to see upcoming films and the cast etc. It would be wonderful if you could switch something in the settings, and then the rating is hidden until you press it or something.
