Ratings for Seasons
I am still having to do a lot of upfront work to find out if a show is worth watching. Particularly if the first season is great but the subsequent ones dropped in holding up the standards the first season produced. The other scenario is when it starts off badly in Season 1 but the producers has changed the direction the ship was sailing and the subsequent seasons are shining stars.
Can we have separate aggregate IMDB scores for shows/series by their seasons please?

@laugher We do not (yet) support the concept of a season as a separate title type, sorry, so this is not an easy ask. However, you can already view ratings by episode across a season from the ratings page of any show (choose the “User ratings” option from the “All topics” menu or click on the rating at the top of the series page). For example, scroll down to the “Ratings by episode” section on these examples:
Hope this helps.

I think it would be a great idea if we had the ability to rate the season of a tv show as a whole. This way the user get more information if a season is good. Now we have to look at the individual episodes.

Hi there,
With TV shows like Fargo and True Detective having stand-alone seasons, as well as "normal" shows often having specific storylines for each season, I think it would be useful to let users rate specific seasons of a TV show. As an example, I loved True Detective Season 1, as many others did, but did not really care for season 2. This would affect my overall rating, even though I would love to praise the first season. Considering we're already given the luxury of rating specific episodes, I think this would be a pretty natural feature to add.
My apologies if this has already been brought up.
Cheers!
