Notifications about new episodes

I stopped receiving notifications for new episodes of the shows I have on my watchlist. I used to get them on my mailboxc didn’t change any kind of settings and after a while they just stopped coming (don’t ask me about spam folder), then I installed an official app, turned on notifications, and now I get all sorts of notifications except for new episodes/releases! It’s very annoying, considering the fact that I definitely have all the toggles on and I get everything but what I really need.
