INTRODUCING: Updated IMDb.com homepage experience
The new homepage is designed to help IMDb customers find what to watch right now, tonight, or this weekend — and where to find the best movies and TV shows for them, whether in theaters, on TV, or across a variety of streaming services (including IMDb TV, Prime Video, HBO, Starz, Showtime, Acorn TV, and PBS). Customers will benefit from a new recommendation engine that leverages implicit and explicit behavior to offer relevant and timely suggestions.

Is a Black screen. It never loads its content.
What have you done, I'm was spending more than a hour a day on your site. Do you think everyone wants heavie homepages with lots of images and videos?
It's all about information, not the best graphics. It's all about navigation speed, not waiting and lag. It's all about a simple overview, not searching for you entry.
I'm a big fan for 18 years, you've one of the best content sites there is, but please get back to the old home page. I

The new format is awful. I'm using a 15" laptop to view it. It screams at you!! and remember the easy to view text, and navigation? It is gone. Time to change to wikipedia..

During the previous version of the website, I used to visit the page more than 10 times a day and that too mostly because of the writing content and Poll Section at the bottom of the page.
Now all those are gone. I was just wondering what is the percentage drop of your regular website visit from the last two weeks?
Anyway, these days I am using the IMDb Android app because that still shows the writing content and poll section.
Just a request, if you guys really want to keep the current format of the website, please bring back the Poll Section at the bottom of the page at least.
Thank you.

So i am really not loving the new page layout. Looking up videos and news is particularly painful if its not in the very top 4-5 stories. I thought the whole point of IMDb is that it is a database of movies and entertainment and the people who work in them, and somewhere you can get updates and news about this stuff. I mean it's in the title. This new format feels like its designed for people with the attention span of a goldfish or its just become an online Netflix/Amazon guide. I used to use IMDb every day but i think i'll stop if its going to stay like this.

Homepage Update — The News Section is Back!
The News section has been added to the new IMDb homepage!
You can find it under "More to explore" as shown in the image below.

Secondly, this change is too major a shift from what everyone is used to. You might have pulled it off if you had changed a little bit here and a little bit there, over time... but no.
This is bad. Please change it back!!!

Hi,
is there an option to choose the old familiar IMDB homepage look instead of this terrible, dreadful and annoying new one (believe me, I'm being easy)?
Thanks!

It's fairly common for many of us to list our IMDb entry in C.V.'s, Resume's, and job application letters.
Now, when potential employers sit down at their desktops and go to look up someone by name, they have to deal with the awful new home page layout, which thanks to it's colour scheme, doesn't even make the search box obvious.
All of the data that used to be present on a 16:9 (Landscape, like Cinemascope, the format ALL film related websites should understand and respect) screen in easy access, is now hidden under layers of garbage aimed at mobile phone users (Y'know, the people who don't know cameras are are meant to be held horizontally, like the layout of human vision,...), rather then respecting those of us who make the products being sold.
Frankly, aiming the worlds premiere reference database at mobile phone users, is nearly as bad as the Academy wanting to award Cinematography and Editing during the Ad-breaks.
IMDb needs to swap the interface back to the correct one, before the users get sick enough to copy the data and present it on an new platform.
