IMDb Completely Blank for Mac User

For the past several days, I cannot open IMDb. I can access this forum, obviously, but any page on IMDb itself appears completely blank on both my Mac and iPhone, regardless of the browser I use. If I refresh the page, occasionally a message appears that says, "Max challenge attempts exceeded. Please refresh to try again!" If I refresh, however, the white blank page appears again. Would love to get this issue solved, I can't be the only one experiencing it.

I have EXACTLY the same problem -- identically.  For the past several days, I've tried opening IMDb.com in multiple browsers on my PC laptop, Android tablet, iPad...  Nothing works.  Deleted cookies, used VPNs, no luck.  All I get is a white / blank screen and occasionally the "Max challenge attempts..." message, same as you.  I thought that I was the only one.  How do we fix this?  (On a side note, I downloaded the IMDb Pro app, and that DID work...)

Please can you confirm if either of you are still facing this issue?  If so, we will need to know the IP address from which you are accessing IMDb and an example specific time you have accessed, along with browser version number and operating system. Please also confirm that you have not been running any browser plug-ins or other browser modifications which might try and copy multiple pages of IMDb data simultaneously?  

The reason for asking is that the message you are seeing is from the system which we use to detect and block high-volume robot activity (which could be firing incorrectly in your cases, of course). 

Please do not post your IP address here -- just reply and let us know if the issue has not been resolved and we will provide instructions as how to securely supply the information which we need.

Unfortunately, I'm still having the same issue and it doesn't seem to be resolved. 

No, I'm not running any plug-ins or browser modifications.  Often I have multiple tabs open with different IMDb pages, but not sure if that would trigger your system? Just let me know how to share my IP address and other details.

I have had the "white page" problem for several days on my desktop PC (Win 11) and also on my laptop ((Win 10). Time of day does not matter, it is consistent. Browser is Brave 1.89.145 (64-bit). (Tried also with Firefox, same result.) I get the "Max challenge attempts exceeded" message occasionally. I have used IMDb for YEARS without this happening before, it just started happening for no reason. Deleting IMDb cookie and clearing cache make no difference.

I have found something rather curious. The problem only exists when I am connected using my EE router and associated provider (which has no problems on any other sites). I also have a Three router (different provider) and do NOT get this problem when connected using that. Since I use the EE router most of the time I would much appreciate a resolution to this weird problem.

Strangely enough, I'm having the same problem with certain pages on AbeBooks (namely, the basket and checkout page), which is another Amazon company, but I'm not having any issues with Amazon itself.

Over the past week, I have had problems on my Android phone accessing my account on a consistent basis as I keep getting a blank screen and occasional message indicating max challenge attempts exceeded. I have been writing reviews on the IMDb since 2000, and this is the first time I had encountered such an issue technically. I believe my user ID is: https://www.imdb.com/user/ur0968789. I have tried to solve this problem by clearing out cookies and cache, as well as turning the airplane mode on then off which sometimes fixes the problems but only temporarily. I would like to be able to continue writing my reviews without delays as I am not a bot overloading the site with fake reviews or ratings. Hopefully this problem can be solved. Please let me know if there is any additional information you need. I only have access to IMDb through my phone which I have not had a problem with up to this point. Thanks for the problem report, but this is not enough information to diagnose the issue, sorry.  Are you experiencing similar problems to the customers on https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/imdbcom/imdb-completely-blank-for-mac-user/69f4f8e12c51567e05a6b19e or is it another issue?  If it is another issue, first please follow the steps in https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/common-issues/why-is-imdb-displaying-differently-on-my-browser/GF2ZAR69V859XLHF 

If nothing there helps, please provide as much detail as possible: How are you blocked? Which pages are you accessing? What devices have you tried? Which browsers have you tried? Ideally please attach screen-grabs showing the block. The more information, the better.
