Group public lists

Well, it would probably a good idea to provide creators of such lists the ability to assign specific privileges to specific guests, but there might have to exist some way for a creator of such a list to be able to recover from a hijacking commenced by somebody he or she thought would be trustworthy, so this means that the creator would have access to an editing log along with exclusive ability to revert privilege assignments in addition to content edits. I fear, however, this would be too complicated for most people who might entertain the idea of messing around with what effectively amounts to access control lists (ACLs). I understand that this kind of stuff should not be unusual to anybody who has operated a version of Microsoft Windows that supports NTFS, but to my recollection, a Home Edition is typically much simpler than a Professional Edition, which is furthermore much simpler than a Server Edition.
