what is this movie???

okay i tried asking this before but for some reason it says at the top of other post it was answered even tho it wasnt. This movie is an end of the world disaster movie (it also could be a tv show but im just not sure).. I can't remember if the scene I'm thinking of is at the beginning but I think maybe. This family has a mother, father and two teen boys . They're all in a really nice looking kitchen talking when secret service looking guys bust in and say they're taking the younger teen boy to a bunker(apparently they're saving the smartest or brightest or something like that)  . The mother and father freak out, then when they hear the world is ending they beg the secret service guys to take older son as well so he'll have a chance at life too. The secret service guys say no, take the younger son and leave. 

I could've sworn the mother was played by Dina Meyer but I looked and nothing sounded familiar with her in it. i also thought maybe Greenland but nope I checked that one as well. pleeeease anyone help. 5 months later, still trying to figure it out.
