What is this movie?

This movie is an end of the world disaster movie. I can't remember if the scene I'm thinking of is at the beginning but I think maybe. This family has a mother, father and two teen boys . They're all in a really nice looking kitchen talking when secret service looking guys bust in and say they're taking the younger teen boy to a bunker(apparently they're saving the smartest or brightest or something like that)  . The mother and father freak out, then when they hear the world is ending they beg the secret service guys to take older son as well so he'll have a chance at life too. The secret service guys say no, take the younger son and leave. 

I could've sworn the mother was played by Dina Meyer but I looked and nothing sounded familiar with her in it. i also thought maybe Greenland but nope checked that one as well. pleeeease anyone help. 5 months later still trying to figure it out. it also could be a tv show but im just not sure.
