Why we need to put mainstream Hollywood and foreign film IMDB pages on lockdown.
To the IMDB staff and users, recently when I tried to add John Wayne credit to Star Wars IV, I'm unable to. I don't know what happened to Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), Full Cast & Crew to get it locked down. I assume it was past vandalism that caused it to be on lockdown.
Anyways since Star Wars 4 1977 IMDB Full Cast & Crew page section is on lockdown, can we start also locking down other popular IMDB Hollywood film pages? I don't want them to be targeted for vandalism or fake credit spamming. Here are some of the IMDB films we need to start considering putting IMDB pages on lockdown including Gone with the Wind 1939, Ben-Hur 1959, Star Wars 5, 6, Back to the Future 1, 2, 3 and other Popular Hollywood films like Jurassic Park and Lord of the Rings to prevent altering credits or vandalism.
Also, can we lock down 4 of the Japanese Anime films Full Cast & Crew IMDB pages of Shimajiro and Doraemon film page? They were targeted for vandalism about 5 years earlier. I don't want these films targeted for vandalism and credit spamming anymore and I want the actor page section to be locked up since the IMDB perpetrator caused a fake credit mess I had to clean and cite the fake actors for deletion. Here are the 3 Shimajiro film and 1 Doraemon IMDB Full Cast & Crew pages we need to put on lockdown right away.
Please lock those 3 Shimajiro and Doraemon IMDB film Full Cast & Crew pages. I don't want them to be allowed to be misedited or vandalized anymore.
Let me know if the IMDB staff plans on locking those mainstream Hollywood films Full Cast & Crew page section I've mentioned because I don't want the credits targeted for editing vandalism or spamming which I want prevented and preserve an accurate credit history of Hollywood films. Let me know what you think. Should we put the film pages on lockdown. Also here's my user list of IMDB films I think need to be on lockdown.
