Why is text being deleted by IMDb within a submitted Real Life Quote?

I have twice submitted a Real Life Quote for Robert Gottlieb (VI) with the following phrase in part of its first sentence, "... who couldn't be more eager for suggestions... [yet is] one of those writers for whom," (updates 230313-062221-496000 and 230315-033938-869000). The first submission was a few characters over the 500-character limit due to the square bracket markup syntax I used to produce a link to the writer in question, which I noted in my explanation. When IMDb accepted the quote, it appeared as, "... who couldn't be more eager for suggestions... is] one of those writers for whom,". I thought the deletion of the "[yet " might have been an arbitrary edit to bring the quote below 500 characters, so I deleted the update and resubmitted a version with fewer than 500 characters which restored the "[yet ". Yet the second accepted version still appears as "... who couldn't be more eager for suggestions... is] one of those writers for whom,". Visually and grammatically, the phrase makes no sense with this deletion. Please have someone restore the "[yet " in this phrase. Thanks in advance. Note that the quote would go well over the 500-character limit if it were to include the full phrase from Gottlieb's original quote which I've replaced with the "yet is".

Hi @PacNW_filmfan -

I'm circling back to confirm that this Quote text issue should now be resolved after the launch of our redesigned name subpages (see announcement thread here).

Cheers!

Maybe the problem wouldn't occur with parentheses as it does with brackets. Just a thought. I will try to explain why at a later time.
