Why is Betty Boop categorised as a TV series?

The Betty Boop cartoon film series from the 1930s has some reason been placed as a TV series on IMDb even though they are theatrical cartoons and not a televison series, other theatrical cartoons film series from the same time period have not had the same treatment on the site.
