Why is a TV episode is in IMDb Top 250 1996 list for movies

I've pointed this out before. It's not going to change what happened in the past. The current guide says movies only but the 1999 list includes How the Grinch Stole Christmas which is a short.

I'm not sure what a solution to this would be other than to just leave it as is and write it off as historical. If you replace the title (would that even be possible to see what the 251st most popular title of 1996), that could cause people to lose the badge and they wouldn't know why.

@Peter_pbn​ In case that previous thread ever gets deleted, the explanation is that "The Gathering" was originally listed as a TV movie, not an episode. And as Col Needham wrote: "In the earlier days, shorts and TV movies were allowed in the Top 250 so these titles remain in the historical record (and therefore the badge eligibility)."
