why arent there any subtitles available for trailers?

the post is like from 3 years ago. I would have thought that since then IMDB would have considered the needs of disabled people and put something in place similar to the closed caption system found with YouTube. 

How can i escalate this issue?

Or add your voice to this old thread, add subtitles 2014.

I think you have raised it in the best way that you can. There is not much benefit to starting another Idea post when there is one already.
