What happened to tt2162037

Fraidy Cat: This Cat for Hire

It was previously an episode on https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1470835/episodes/

But seems somebody deleted it? I see no reason why the deletion was justified. can you check up on it please. Thanks!

Hi Horst -

I can see that this episode title was removed as our editors could not verify the existence.

If you have online evidence from reputable sources to verify that this was a released episode of the "" TV Series, post the links here and our staff can take another look.

Cheers!

@Michelle

yeah ACT gave a good response above. Apparently there's a handful of unproduced episodes. What's the modus operandi on imdb with these? "This Cat for Hire" seems to be one of them.

Autobiography of Lou Scheimer (founder of production company) confirms only 12 episodes were made:

And apparently some DVDs mislabeled an episode, that's why there are uploads with "This Cat for Hire" title on YouTube like the one ACT_1 posted. But it seems it's actually the episode named "Puss n' Boats", just mislabeled, it's not "This Cat for Hire", it can be confirmed by comparing plots. Episode title mix-up is mentioned here: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Trivia/FraidyCat
So deletions look correct and justified to me.
