This is normal, unfortunately.

If you are editing a title, you should be able to use the correct letters in an Alternate Title.

@Peter_pbn sorry but is not a title but an actor. Hungarian actress name is not “Mari Töröcsik” but “Mari Törőcsik” unpossible correct it becouse of the character code problem. So the software cant handle this character code normally.

Thanks! Does this mean that next time there will be no more problems and it won't print a character error? Or should it always be indicated here?

@ikiss68 Hi-

There are some characters that we cannot support through our contribution form, however, in some circumstances staff can manually make the changes.

I consulted our tech team to check if this will be accepted at some point, and will let you know if I have any update.

Cheers!

I am unable to add the Odia-language title. The option does not appear in the drop down. But more importantly, the Unicode character range probably is not accepted for some reason. It's been over two decades the Unicode international standards for complex scripts are accepted across platforms. Can it be added on IMDb? Attached a screenshot.

Hello

I was browsing IMDB and found out that "Finding Ola" mini-series got its title in Arabic "البحث عن علا", but when I tried to do this on another page it got rejected because using Arabic characters. so I want to know why and how to add Arabic characters to a film or a series.

Thanks
