This is normal, unfortunately. If you are editing a title, you should be able to use the correct letters in an Alternate Title.

Thanks! Does this mean that next time there will be no more problems and it won't print a character error? Or should it always be indicated here?

I am unable to add the Odia-language title. The option does not appear in the drop down. But more importantly, the Unicode character range probably is not accepted for some reason. It's been over two decades the Unicode international standards for complex scripts are accepted across platforms. Can it be added on IMDb? Attached a screenshot. Hello I was browsing IMDB and found out that "Finding Ola" mini-series got its title in Arabic "البحث عن علا", but when I tried to do this on another page it got rejected because using Arabic characters. so I want to know why and how to add Arabic characters to a film or a series. Thanks Note: This comment was created from a merged conversation originally titled how to add titles in Arabic characters to imdb
