Hi zinkenhopp -

I can confirm that the credit was in fact approved, however, our display logic requires at least one fully credited listing on your page before any will show - as there are no fully credited positions associated yet with your page, the credit is not visible.

Once a fully credit position is added, all (uncredited) data will also appear.

I hope this helps clarify!

@Michelle Hi, Thank you for your kind reply.

Unfortunately it's still not updated.

My friends who worked with me already on the cast list. (uncredited)

Even sometimes some of them are shown even before the movie release date.

I've been working in the filming industry for 6 years.

But still I have no idea how this works.

Please check my contributions.

Hi zinkenhopp -

I can confirm that your credits for both "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Jumanji: The Next Level" have been approved, however, the credits are not displaying on the site because they are both "uncredited".

To clarify again, you must have at least one fully credited entry listed before any 'uncredited' work will will display.  So once you have a credited entry listed (meaning, your name was featured within the on-screen credits on the title), your uncredited work will then display.

I hope this help clarify!

@Michelle There is something I noticed with this uncredited display logic that's not mentioned anywhere, guidelines or by staff responses.

When someone has at least one unreleased title in their filmography (a title without any release date), all credits are displayed even if they are all uncredited. When the title is released, all credits are hidden, if they get an in-production title to their filmography again, all credits are shown again etc.

It might be worth to include this detail in guidelines?

@mbmb

That's because you cannot add attributes when titles are unreleased (if I recall correctly). But there could be something else going on. You should probably start your own thread to get attention of a staffer.

@adrian Actually only (as) attribute is not allowed by form. (uncredited) attribute goes fine from my experience.

Hi @mbmb -

Do you have a name page example on the site of this occurrence?

Thanks!

@Michelle Yes, see this archived name page: Chris Mitchum

As you can see, name page only has "uncredited" credits, but all of them are displayed. Because one of the movies is not in released status, does not have any release dates.

But, I added some release dates to that title and it became a "released" title: Switching Lanes (2015)

Now, check the current state of the name page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2653118/

All credits are now hidden because all titles are "released"

If you add a unreleased title to that name page again, all credits will be displayed again, despite all of them are uncredited.

It's something I noticed a few times previously with different name pages after adding the first release date of a title.

Hi @mbmb -

Thanks for posting the example, this is interesting display behavior.  I have reached out to the appropriate team to confirm if our display logic has changed regarding "uncredited" listings, and if so I will push for an update to our Help Guides.  Otherwise, if this is identified as a bug, it will be reviewed for a fix.

Thanks again!

@Michelle how does imdb confirm a credit (name was featured within the on-screen credits on the title) vs uncredited? I am also having trouble getting an approved image to appear and wondering if this is the issue.
