• Trivia: Right before Princess Peach's birthday party, Luigi sings "That's Amore" by Dean Martin, something that was previously sung in Mario related media with The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (1989) episode "Mario & Joliet", in addition to previous works of Chris Pratt and Charlie Day, being The Garfield Movie (2024) and an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005) respectively.
• Trivia: In reference to another Illumination film franchise, the gnome from the Despicable Me short Mower Minions (2016) makes a cameo in Bowser's mini-castle.
