Submission formats

It would be really nice if the website was a bit clearer on what format, exactly, a correction should have.  I filed a correction yesterday on a 'goof' that was not actually a goof because it was based on the poster's opinion, (that an injured animal MUST wear an e-collar when it is, of course, the owner's prerogative, and dependant on the animal's behaviour as to whether they need it, and the animal in question did not seem to,) and it was rejected for bad formatting, but there is no guide as to what the 'right' formatting would have been.

If you can post the content of your submission, perhaps we can figure it out. Or you can post the reference number for IMDb staff to look into.

Hello Lady_Khat,

Can you help us posting the 18-digits submission reference number? in order to take a look for you!

You can find the submission number on your Contribution History page.

Hi @Lady_Khat -

I have now corrected some of the formatting issues (removed all caps etc.) and approved the Goof correction.  The changes should be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!
