Problem Logging on to my IMDB account

I had just submitted a trivia item when I suddenly dropped out of IMDB. I tried to log on again several times, but found myself constantly being looped back to the logon screen. At a later attempt, I got an Error 500 message. This is the first time this has happened in my 14 years as a contributor. What is going on and how  can this be fixed?
